Hi folks its been 6 or seven years since we were last in Alykanas ,can anyone tell me if they still run the trainaki up to the old tavena for the Greek night, and is the Lemon tree still open.as these will be 2 on our list of things to do if they are still on the go. :)

Yes that wine is so strong I actually climbed and fell out of the Lemon Tree

Seriously though the night up at Spiros is brill and the little train ride there and back is a laugh also been on the museum day visit (more of that wine) very interesting trip and the views over the valley to the mountains were spectacular.

PS a little ice in the wine works a treat. ;)

Had a great night at Spirosis taverna his whole family just love to dance, the wine was good and though I had a fair bit no hangover the next day yipee .
Lemon tree was also very nice got the horses taxi up and walked back down.
All the food we had in Zante was was good ,with the possible exception of our night trip to Zante town which you could only describe as fair.
Hope we can make it back at some point next year.  :)
