Alykes 2020 .... Holiday
« on: September 23, 2019, 08:23:27 am »
Hi all, well I have bit the bullet early. I normally book at Xmas/New Year time but due to the TC situation decided to book earlier. I have booked through Jet2, now those who know me know I am a creature of habit and I always book to stay at the Nikos. Well next year I am staying at the Panos, I spent a few days using their facilities in July and decided I would be quite happy to stay there. Booked for next July arriving 25th for a 3 week stay, I must admit a little pricey but hey its a little treat to myself.
I am really a nice person, eccentric bordering on the mad.

I can see Jet2 rapidly expanding it’s operations into the Southern airports with the huge void left by T. Cook.

Looking for alternatives to my TC flight for next May and flights are £100 + dearer with TUI and Jet2 than what I had booked :(   EJ still look OK which I will sort out tomorrow.

Just re-booked my flight for May 2020 with Easyjet at £236  including 23kg luggage and seats as my TC flight is now  defunked . TUI wanted £389.00 + seats + luggage.

Hopefully they will eventually  see sense and stop profiteering  >:(

We managed to get two returns from Liverpool for £422 inc 15kg each and reserved seats for May ourselves. Booked a couple of days ago, compared to what we paid for our tui flights for later this month we're happy with that. With luck though, when they go on sale for next October we'll get a better price  :)

Cheers.        Tom and Rose
