Zante 2020
« on: February 13, 2020, 10:01:45 pm »
Other half is ok just will be under surveillance every few years .....

Plessas booked September 2020 never stayed there but was between that and draninokos but we prefer Friday flight that made the decision.

Stay both alykes/alykanas but alykes hotels often further out so decided to stay in alykanas this time although will venture out to alykes as prefer the beach.

Kefalonia Skala in July and maybe city break maybe Thessaloniki will see.

Happy holidays all  :)

All of your trips sound brilliant and I'm sure you will have a really enjoyable time. We have stayed at Plessas Palace ( the main hotel , even though they are mainly studios, not the annex across the road) and on the three occasions stayed here we have had nothing to complain about except when we last stayed at Plessas in 2016, the sunbeds around the pool needed replacing,  but they have probably done that now. There is a supermarket next door, turn left out of main entrance, to buy bottled water , although it mainly sold touristy things, it was the closest for water. There is also a supermarket attached to Elpida next door. The owners of Plessas Palace are very kind and welcoming and they cook some decent meals on site as well as having a weekly Greek night and barbecue. They also have evening quizzes, bingo etc and all around the resort , as you probably know, are various entertainment, singers, tribute acts. We always enjoy a few drinks at Busters Bar with the friendly Olli, Anna and their lovely daughter Maria ( if she's home from medical school). Even though we tend to stay at the other end of the resort we always make our way here quite a lot. A brilliant taverna near here is Acroplis which, as it is so popular, food is tasty, homecooked, reasonable, we tend to book a table so as not to be disappointed. We are there again this year in June, amazing place, never tire of it.  :)
