Childrens play area
« on: February 28, 2007, 03:29:12 pm »
Although i am a massive fan of Argassi (17th time in May)
iv'e always thought it lacked a good quality play area for
younger children to enjoy themselves especially on a night
as you make you own fun during the day. I don't mean
anything over the top but ideally somewhere us parents
can sit round ,prefrably with a mythos, and watch them get safley shattered as the play area behind the Avalon
just isn't good enough for them( in my opinion that is)

paul there are two crazy golf sites, two battery operated kids car areas, tropicana has a play area, mouse house has a plastic ball pen, dimitrios beach bar has a selection of games, pool table, volleyball, football.one of the rooftop restaurants has a play den i think its zorbas?the wreck bar had a great kids area but unfortunately became unsafe after a bad storm a few years ago.a few bars have kids colouring books.i think if you want more try booking with someone like cosmos who run kids clubs, they even take the little darlings of your hands for a few hours during the evening. :) ;)

I know what you mean. There is a resteraunt in Kalamaki, at the top end of the road to Lagana.  They have a play area with swings and climbing frame, so you can carry on having a drink and a chat whilst they play safely.

Sounds like Paolos - mind you the little darlings sometimes find their way round the garden to the fountain and then proceed to splash the diners sitting by the wall  ;D ;D

Pete I must be coming to fussy in my old age as we've
been to all the places you mentioned exept the new mini
golf course but think the play areas could all be improved.
Mousehouse is well kept but it's to small to keep the kids
occupied for long. My little boy luvs the battery cars his fav
is the one near the red lion and as for someone else taking the kids for a few hours on a night that would be
no good at all cos who would carry me home after a good night out ( only joking)

the green frog has a play area you can eat drink or even play football(there is a football pitch at the back}while you watch your little darlings.

The only problem with the football pitch behind the greenfrog is it runs uphill!!
depends which way you look at it  :) ;)

films are usually 6, 8 and 10 pm 3 different films every night.

Except of course when there are certain football games shown instead..
